I’m a portrait photographer in Utah County. I specialize in newborn and children portraits with a minimalistic approach. And just like you, I am an exhausted, over-stimulated, wondering what she got herself into mom. I know that sometimes those days never seem to end and you count the minutes until bed time.
I know that life is messy and chaotic, but I know it’s in those messy moments that magic happens. I also know there is no one that brings you more joy than your children. No one you will fight harder for. Nothing you wouldn’t do for them.
That’s what I try to do in my work, help you remember those special babes and personalities you are raising and teaching by capturing them in a timeless way; giving you something to hold onto once the toys and sticky finger prints are gone.

Why Work With Me
MINIMAL.
All newborn photography sessions take place in my simple, clean studio. When I photograph your baby, I never use props. Just your baby on a bed, comfortable and cozy.
Your baby is so unique and special, and that is what I want to showcase in their portraits. All the things that make them…them!
EXPERIENCE.
Not only am I a photographer, but I am also a mom to three rambunctious children. I spent many sleepless nights rocking and nursing babies. I get it!
I also have over 15 years of photographing babies and children and have several tricks up my sleeve that will be sure to tame any toddler or settle any baby!

When you come to the studio, you’ll find an easy, relaxed atmosphere that parents and older siblings enjoy being in. I also have snacks!
I promise you your crazy toddler is fine! I promise your reluctant husband is fine. Just come, sit back, relax and let me help you create memories that you will cherish forever.

Newborn Session Sitting Fee: $375
Your session fee includes the photographer’s time and talent, as well as approximately 75 edited images presented in an online gallery for viewing and product ordering.
Session fees do not include digital files or physical products.
Baby Bundle Sitting Fee: $900
Have your baby photographed three times in their first year! Babies change so fast and every stage is unique, this bundle option gives you the opportunity to capture all those special moments! Includes Newborn, 6-9 Months, and One Year Photo Sessions
Session fees do not include digital files or physical products.
Digital Negatives.
Clients have the option of purchasing single digital negatives files for download or the entire gallery for unlimited download and sharing.

Archival Prints.
Fine art prints are printed on your choice of matte or luster, archival grade paper providing strength and beauty that will last generations.

Maternity PLUS Newborn : $600
This includes a maternity photo session for you and your significant other PLUS a newborn photo session.

Baby Bundle PLUS Maternity: $1200
This includes a maternity photo session for you and your significant other PLUS a newborn, 6-9 months, and one year sessions for your baby.

The Newborn Session Process
1. Inquire & Book
First, start off by filling out my contact form and tell me a little bit about yourself, family and your due date.
Babies come on their own time, so I will take note of your due date and leave room in my schedule for flexibility.
2. Session Day
Once your baby is born, contact me and we will schedule a concrete date and time for your session to take place.
You’ll come to the studio, we’ll laugh and talk and get busy photographing your sweet family.
Plan on spending about an hour to an hour and half at the studio.
3. Gallery Delivery
After your session, I will deliver your online gallery in about 2-3 weeks. Your gallery is for viewing to purchase products. Products are not included in the sitting fee price.
You are welcome to share your gallery with friends and family.
4. Order Products
I have luxurious products for you to choose from. I have digital negatives, prints of various sizes, and heirloom albums. You are able to purchase these products directly online and have the delivered right to you!
Albums require extra steps and a bit more time and communication to produce, but it is totally worth it!

If you are wanting those super fresh, sleepy, cozy newborn photos, you’ll want to schedule your session within the first 14 days of your baby’s birth.
But don’t worry, if you miss that time frame, we can still get beautiful photographs of your baby at any age!

I know you’re a busy momma and family so plan on your newborn session lasting an hour to an hour and half.

Everyone! I actually insist that the whole family comes. I like to photograph your newborn with you and dad and older siblings.
I have even had grandma come once in a while. Just let me know who is planning on attending so I can plan accordingly.

Solid colors or patterns that read solid really translate well on camera. Opt for muted pastels, earth tones or neutrals like white, cream, gray, or black. These colors are timeless and will never go out of style.
For newborn, I recommend a simple onesie in a solid soft color. I also like to photograph babies just in their diapers. Simple is best for baby.

I think photographing your baby the way they are is the most important. The way photograph is called “baby-led” posing. This means that I photograph your baby on their tummies, swaddled in a blanket, or cradled in your arms. I will adjust angles and limbs in maybe a more flattering way, but nothing that is uncomfortable or unsafe for your baby.
You won’t find any buckets, baskets, or fussy props here!

Hi! I’m LAURA!
My family and I have lived in Spanish Fork for the last ten years. We have grown to love Utah County and all the beautiful outdoor sites that surround us.
As a family we love going to Payson Lakes, Bridal Veil Falls, and Hobble Creek Canyon.
My husband is a graphic designer and works for BYU Broadcasting in Provo, creating amazing marketing content to help promote their shows. The kids and I love visiting him at work and while we’re there, on campus going to the Monte L. Bean Life Science Museum or BYU MOA.
I am originally from Idaho and grew up on a dairy farm with three older brothers. I attended BYU-Idaho, where I earned a BFA degree in Photography.
I have over 15 years of experience photographing families and children and absolutely adore what I do.
